The Benefits of Bone Broth

Sometimes you read something and you think – I couldn’t write that any better.  Here is one of those posts!  This article is a lovely review of why I love bone broth and why I often recommend it in clinic.  It can really help people with digestive issues (amongst other things), it’s really nutritious so it’s fab for all ages, from babies through to the elderly.  And it’s very cheap! 

It keeps for at least a week in the fridge, so have it as a drink, add it to soups, add it to bolognaise – in fact anything that needs a stock, chuck it in!

My word of caution – make sure you know where your bones are coming from.  Well looked after, grass-fed animals, ideally reared in pastures away from industry are your best bet.
